Volunter Projects
Greg Haitz and his family deeply enjoy volunteering both in their local community and abroad. They find great fulfillment in giving back and making a positive impact. Here are a few of their recent projects that highlight their commitment.
Homes of Hope 2018, 2019
Each year, Life Community Church partners with several other local churches to build homes for families in need in Ensenada, Mexico. Greg’s family has been fortunate to participate in two separate house-building trips, gaining valuable experiences and making a meaningful impact in the lives of those they serve.
“There is nothing more humbling and rewarding than to see a family, who hours before were living in a shanty with dirt floors, about to take the keys and open the door to their new home. Many happy tears were shed.”
Convey of Hope, Mesa County 2021
Our family was truly honored to participate in the 2021 Mesa County Convey of Hope event. Together, our dedicated team was able to help serve thousands of Mesa County residents by providing a wide range of valuable services, including free haircuts, groceries, family portraits, veterans services, musical entertainment, and much-needed hope for a brighter future.
Other ways Greg Haitz Volunteers in his community:
Life Community Church Finance Board
Pregnancy Center Board of Directors - Vice Chair
Colorado Chiropractic Association Legislative Committee
ShareFest Grand Junction
Since 1993, participating churches and their dedicated volunteers have served the community through an annual weekend event called ShareFest. During this time, volunteers come together in groups, adopt specific projects, and work diligently to complete them. Greg and his family have actively volunteered at The House, a local halfway house that provides support and shelter for at-risk teens.
